Only three top teams are going to PGL Bucharest

PGL has confirmed the participant list for PGL Bucharest, a studio tournament in Romania with a $1.25M prize pool that will take place April 3–11. Of the top 10 in the rankings as of February 2, only FaZe, PARIVISION and The MongolZ accepted their invitations; the other top teams chose to focus on IEM Rio, which starts on April 13. Only B8 and 3DMAX will attend both championships.

Because of the numerous declines, second‑tier teams received direct invites: M80 and BC.Game made the list despite holding only 21st and 22nd places in the rankings, while FUT, which broke through at IEM Krakow and PGL Cluj-Napoca, will get another chance to establish itself in tier‑1. At the same time, PGL issued invitations for the closed qualifiers: in Europe, BetBoom and EYEBALLERS stand out there, in South America it’s MIBR and Imperial, and lineups from North America and the Asia/Oceania region have also been announced.
